to be real

Bit random but i love that M&S advert, it was just on and reminded me. Anyway, can't believe how fast this weeks gone! not just this week though, every week seems to fly by too quickly for my liking and i'm finding myself not actually doing anything with my time! This week i have:
- been to work
- shopped a tiny bit
- bummed around alot!

Tomorrow i'm starting spinning at the gym, never done it before, but always wanted to try it; i hope it shapes my legs up! I still haven't brought that asos coat yet, i get paid soon, so maybe then, we'll see.
I'm going to Chester next Saturday, and then in 2weeks time, i'm off to Oxford and Cambridge (fingers crosses that the trip doesn't get cancelled this time!)
I'm in the mood to draw today, so maybe, after i've taken my dog out and read some more of Marley and Me.
On the update of my ZARA boots, i'm still waiting .. i hope they're worth the wait, quick question, can i return them to store if i don't like them, or if i buy off the website, do they have to be returned by post?

hope everyone's had a nice weeked, x!

(really love the clothes on this Chloe ad campaign, such a sucker for Chloe.)

Today

Today has been rather pointless. Still no packages for me in the post. Currently i'm:

- watching Britain's Best Dish; my fave programme
- thinking that i'm never gonna get a good job
- wanting to get out of this area and do something more with my life
- wishing i had more confidence so that i can make the above one happen
- admiring my Chloe handbag whilst watching BBD
- thinking about what it would be like to win the lottery.

In a strange mood today, weird, like i'm not really here .. freaky.

much love, Sarah x

updated wishlist

I just can't control myself these days, all i wanna do is spend spend spend! There are just so many beautiful items out there, and not enough money in my pocket to own them! (well i could, but deep down, i know i should be saving!) Anyway, just been checking out the new ASOS White collection and i adore it. It's so classy and elegant. The pieces all look so timeless and clean-cut; which i just love. So the one thing that has majorly stood out to me and basically the one thing that i'm gonna be buying within the next few weeks (even though i don't need another coat!) is this B-E-A-UTIFUL coat, it's so me, it deserves to be worn all A/W and it wont ever really date due to the classic colour. I'd team it with (when it arrives, fingers crossed tomorrow, my asos fur hat)

The next thing i'm after is to indulge in a spot of leopard print. I don't wanna go too OTT with this, but i think a subtle hint of this trend i will take on board. I'm thinking of this headscarf, also from ASOS (seriously love asos!) and perhaps some leopard ballet pumps. A stunning Lanvin pair have caught my eye, but at £300, i don't think i'll be prancing around in them any time soon aha! They're available from the new 'shoe galleries' @ Selfridges, however, i will be sure to settle for a cheaper alternative .. perhaps off ebay.

and the asos headscarf ..

I think that's all, still patiently waiting for my H&M, ASOS and ZARA packages to arrive .. i feel i've been waiting forages :( boohoo; much love, Sarah x

no Oxbridge

This weekend i was meant to be going to Oxford and Cambridge however, the trip got cancelled for some stupid reason (i don't think the coach was full enough or something), so i went to work instead. I've been doing a bit of online shopping this past week, so when my items finally arrive to me, i'll show them on here. Nothing too exciting (apart from the boots!). Next weekend, i have zero plans, well, i was meant to be going to Chester but, mum has to work therefore, we can't go. The weekend after that however, i'm meant to be going to London for the fashion event at the V&A, i am still in two minds if i should or shouldn't. If i don't, i'll be going Chester that weekend instead. Is any of this making sense aha? It kinda is in my head .. but seeing it written down i feel i'm not making any sense at all. Rambling now, blehh. Oh also, here a few of my picks from ZARA .. i thought i'd purchased most of the A/W collection, but missed these bad boiiz ..

by the way, i'm in love with this ASOS model below, i think i've saved like every image of her aha! her face is so pretty and i want her hair and her figure! what do ya think?

hope everyone has had a nice weekend anyway, x

change in weather

The past few nights, i've really began to notice a change in our weather, is it officially Autumn now? I always get confused when actual seasons begin. Anyway, the light nights are starting to really vanish, i'm getting tired and usually falling asleep on my bedroom floor (ha, i don't get why i do this, but i always do!) and the air really has that different feel to it. I'm sounding rather negative here, but actually Autumn is my favourite season! Autumn/Winter clothes always have been and i think always will be my favourite.

Anyway, i've just been browsing matchesfashion.com and came across this gorgeous 'MCQ by Alexander McQueen' jumper, isn't it gorgeous? at £285 i don't think it's too badly priced, however, it is only something i can dream of owning!

weekend

Kinda cool weekend i've just had actually, spent with my good friend Charl. We went out Saturday night and as usual, i stuck to my same old regular going out make up- i seriously can't be bothered to experiment with make-up, so lazy! The outfit i decided to wear was my Darling 'Scarlett' dress, mixed with some Asos black boots. Next weekend, i'm going to Oxford and Cambridge, i am so so excited :)!

The Wishlist

I think everyone has a wishlist of all the things they would buy if they could. I have two types of wishlist; one is pointless things that i do just want and would buy if i was super-duper rich and the other one is of items i class as 'iconic' and would actually take time to save up my money for. My first type of wishlist changes regularly, whereas the other one, well i think about it 24/7!

So the things i'm currently after on the 'iconic' wishlist:

- YSL arty ring

- Burberry trench coat

- Alexander McQueen skull scarf

- Marc Jacobs mouse shoes

I feel rather proud that i've already ticked off a few items that were on here over the past year or so. These items were:

- Vivienne Westwood Pirate boots

- Christian Louboutin shoes

- Chloe handbag

- Moschino belt
i think that was it actually, there may be something else i'm forgetting however, i'm pretty sure i would remember it!

So i was just browsing on my all time three favourite websites the other day (net-a-porter, matches fashion and my-wardrobe!) and anyway, the 'if i were a lottery winner and had money to burn' wishlist is as follows ..

Dress: Beyond Vintage @ Matchesfashion

Boots: Chloe @ Net-a-Porter

Skirt: Chloe @ Net-a-Porter

Dress: J Crew @ Net-a-Porter

Necklace: Kenneth Jay Lane @ Net-a-Porter (only £30!)

Blouse: Marc Jacobs @ Net-a-Porter

Boots: See by Chloe @ Net-a-Porter

Blouse: Temperley @ Net-a-Porter

Shoes: YSL tribute sandals @ Net-a-Porter

Coat: Moschino @ My-Wardrobe

mhmm, i can dream ...

look of the day

It's a Saturday and i'm excited to watch the X-Factor later. I really haven't done anything today, apart from return some pyjamas i brought last week and re-purchased them with some new ones and then paid a visit to my local library ( I do this most weekends!). Anyway, I thought i'd do an outfit post today. It's a really basic look, but i guess it works well. I always feel comfy in my black skinny jeans, they have to be my most worn item in my wardrobe!

The vest is just a basic Topshop vest, which i purchased Wednesday with my trousers! The belt was also brought then too, bit of Primark for ya! and then the jeans are my usual ones ..

mid-week shopping trip

Okay okay, so I know i'm not really meant to be buying anything (i don't need more clothes and i have no space!) but I went shopping with a friend today and well, she somehow forced me, played on my weakness and just forced me. My excuse is I can always take things back. So, what did i buy then? .. nothing too exciting really, two basic vests from Topshop because 1) i need more than my h&m one to match in with my Winter Kate jacket and 2) they go with EVERYTHING i purchased in London. The other thing i purchased was a pair of trousers from River Island. They are quite structured and masculine i guess, high-wasted, black and will go with everything (the tops included!) I also got a belt from Primark, it has feathers on and matches my headband that i wear all the time :) win win really. Also, i saw a gorgeous fur coat in River Island that I just have to have, i'll add it to the wishlist :)!

These are the trousers, (they look a lot more flattering on, honest!) and then the coat which i would really quite like ...
